Yes obsolete as a bomber, but played an important role as a glider tug. Unfortunate that it’s overlooked so much.

Gnome, thanks, looks nice, but… $140 is cheap??? What’s the usual price in Auckland then for a night? Holy cow, you can stay in a five star hotel, in central Hamilton for $99. As a very poor student, the car is looking more of an option now. Haha.
Actually even though I’m an insomniac, when I am tired I’m one of those people who can sleep anywhere, car, chair, floor, couch, whatever. So I’ll find somewhere I hope. So long as it’s not in that bed with Setter and Turbo, lol
oh go on, I’m not that bad !!!:diablo:
ANZAC relations (as Dave M2 put it) are all important !!! 😀
Mr Setter had better move over, ’cause I may have to snuggle in too…. 😮 😀

Just a suggestion.

I think a flying Stearman value is around NZ$150-200K.
I would love a go in one, but don’t know where they joy-ride them anymore

Lovely – strange that someone would post these pictures on an airliner forum!
The airliners.net website name is actually a bit of a misnomer.
You can post and find any aircrfat you can care to think of there, Military, Civilian or Historic. Great pics there.
