My own opinion would be for differential steering with the 2 outer props. Would be more effective without the centre one pulling too I would think.

Is the Do-24 ATT a new build aircraft or a WW2 vintage one upgraded and modernised ?

Question,…what sort of condition is the Main Spar and the like in ?
I just remember that the MOTAT Lanc down here in Auckland had an extremely dodgy one due to advanced corrosion.
Would that make the “final flight” by crane very risky, or is it in good nick ?

Okay, this is going to be a little controversial,…. but I’d love to see a full-size flying Horsa glider towed behind a C-47/DC-3 resplendent in D-Day invasion stripes.

Imagine it, being towed up and released, landing at the airshow. Then a force of authentic Paratroops come pouring out of it when it rolls to a stop.

Spits and mustnags in appropriate colour schemes providing air-cover…

Reminds me of the movie Strategic Air Command, when they develop a 3-engined fire and bale out, as well as Mr Stewart bellying the lovely B-36.
