    here’s a question….

With the contra-rotating props, does it give the Seafire a different noise to a standard 3,4,5 bladed prop on a Spit ?

    Thanks SFF.:)

The dust was actually a bit of a problem. They had the watering truck going backwards and forwards all day long in an effort to keep it down. My poor camera was suffering where I had to point, shoot and camera takes cover….

I can’t imagine what it did to the airfilters of the aircraft….

My fav is actually one I took in the weekend at Wanaka

I’m really stoked by how this pic came out as I am not a photographer by any means but I’ve got it on my desktop wallpaper now.

Thanks for the kind words, Seafuryfan.:)
The enthusiasm I’ve received from my fellow Northern Hemisphere Warbird Fans has just blown me away.

I’m going to have another crack tonight (9.16am here in NZ at the moment) and post my remaining pics.

Should I post the RNZAF pics on the Military Forum ?
The C130, Huey, and Orion are 1960’s vintage so they could go on here….:D

    Cheers,
    Chris

Thanks for the info, OFMC Fan.:)

That problem with the La-9 happened on Saturday but the wee beasty was flying well on Sunday, which as a credit to those that managed to repair her in time.

Yes Sir Tim put the trim in the opposite direction didn’t he….

Anyway, that’s apparently true about the Count Rot props not needing trim. Both swings cancel each other out.
That is why it was more applicable to carrier aircraft.
ie Seafire 47, DarkShark, Gannet etc
