Just regarding the Westland Whirlwind, why was it never repowered with Merlins as they knew the Peregrine’s were unreliable.
It’s definitely a nice looking aircraft.

Buying an extra mem card for the camera to take esp for the airshow
I guess it wouldn’t be practical to scale down the wheels to fit the wing and still be able to operate from unprepared strips with nosing over.
