G-CEJM
At long last!
B757 G-CEJM is due to deliver to Glasgow Thursday 22 Mar 19:25 from Keflavik.
Is this not G-VBUS?
There is a rumor going around the BBC an aircraft will be used during Comic Relief Night this year for some form of “stunt”. Maybe this is it and rumor is true?
There is a music theme to this “stunt”……………………….
As of 20th Feb – Latest I’ve heard but NOT confirmed. Both UK regd B767’s to return to ILFC who in turn will lease the a/c directly to Air India. One B767 lsd fm Icelandair due no fourth B757 available. One further B767 lease reported as due from Neos.
Flyglobespan rumours seem to change on a daily basis. Who knows what the plan will be tomorrow!!
Has G-MSJF arrived in the UK? Seen no reports as yet
TF-LLZ is one of the leased B757’s
G-SEFC, TF-FIK B757 is apparently at Norwich being repainted and will become G-CEJM.
Will be based at Glasgow for the summer when it enters service.
G-ZAPZ
G-ZAPZ leased from Titan since 12 Feb for STN – EDI runs. Will stay for a while.
If it should be that I grow frail and weak,
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
then you must do what must be done,
for we know this last battle can’t be won.
You will be sad, I understand,
but don’t let grief then stay your hand,
for this day, more than the rest,
your love and friendship must stand the test.
We’ve had so many happy years,
what is to come can hold no fears.
Would you want me to suffer? So,
when the time comes, please let me go.
Take me where my needs they’ll tend,
only stay with me until the end,
and hold me firm and speak to me,
until my eyes no longer see.
It is a kindness that you do to me,
although my tail it’s last has waved,
from pain and suffering I have been saved.
Do not grieve, it should be you,
who must decide this thing to do.
We’ve been so close, we two these years,
Don’t let your heart hold any tears.

I suggest that you copy and paste the above and file it away somewhere. It’s one of those things that sometime in the future will come in handy one way or another.

I must say, I really do like that. One of the better new liveries to appear in recent months.
Any joy on source 737s? i hear they were having some trouble?
Not as yet as B737srs a/c not confirmed Will publish on the site as soon as I find out anything.
It appears that both a/c now require too much work to get them in service. Why this wasn’t apparent before is not known. Both have been de-registered and now carry US marks (Last 3 digits of c/n No) prior to returning to the States. It is thought that the loss of these two a/c from the fleet will be covered by additional B737srs a/c. The three ex Chinese B757’s are still due.
I would suggest that the a/c were prepared for departure basing their instrument settings on the prevailing weather conditions. These conditions changed somewhat resulting in a ‘configuration change’. Or, was there a last minute runway change?
No doubt there are more knowledgeable folk on here who may wish to expand on this very basic explanation
They’ve just announced to their customers that they are operating as what they see dangerous.
Not quite. They have only suspended operations whilst the runway is wet, resulting in the newly laid surface becoming slippery and when the prevailing crosswind is deemed to be above safe operating limits given runway conditions. I understand that the weather forecast for Bristol over the weekend is not good (Wind/rain). If they continue to suspend flights over the weekend, it may take a couple of days after that before they return to normal operations at Bristol. It just depends on the weather conditions and what form their forward planning takes.
In essence, what they have actually announced to their customers is that a potentially dangerous situation has been identified (Remember, three other operators have had landing problems recently at Bristol) and it is easyjets decision to put safety before profit. A stance for which they should be commended.
easyjet have dropped themselves in the brown stuff.
Why?
