Indeed – so your question has been answered.

I suppose that question could be posed of numerous threads in GD and elsewhere. However a thread serves several purposes, not the least of which is as a discussion/debating area. I don’t see this thread as redundant in that respect.

I think there is a parallel with television programmes. We always have the option of the off switch but I don’t think that denies us the right to comment on the quality, suitability or relevance of particular programmes. We are all members of this forum so I would like to think we have the right to comment on and/or complain about threads and their content.

Knowing little or nothing about these matters I am impressed by the speed at which the insurance was settled and instructions given, parts ordered and supplied and work completed. Barely two months from accident to ready-to-fly.
