Yes, you are quite right.
“The heyday of UFO research has gone, magazines have folded…..”
Presumably because modern methods of observation and information have identified UFOs as natural objects or as mistaken observation. And the inevitable consequence will probably be an increasing lack of interest in the phenomenon.

I have already PMd the Webmaster and I assume VeeOne has as well. I am usually in sympathy with the forum’s moderation but not this time.

Flightradar 24 and Planefinder are both loaded onto my Android phone and I enjoy both.
I became very disillusioned with National Geographic a few years ago having subscribed to the magazine for more than 30 years and been a reader for 50 years.
In my view they have ceased to be an objective scientific organisation and have adopted increasingly partisan stances on a range of subjects. And I am unimpressed by the general level of programming on their TV channel.

Until the identity of a UFO is proved to be any other than a natural phenomenon I do not understand how the subject is debatable. Those who believe that UFOs are “of another world” have no proof whatsoever, so that the belief is no different from a belief in an afterlife and a god. They are entitled to believe what they like, but have no arguments to criticise those of us who have an open mind in the sense that we believe that UFOs are just that, UFOs.
