Great story, Blue. Thanks. You clearly followed your father into oil, grease and spanner territory and so the challenge of keeping an old motor on the road and enjoying it at the same time is one you relish. My father was never successful in imparting his engineering/tinkering skills on to me – my brother got those and is now busily involved in restoration.

The only type of humble which I enjoy is the Kate variety to be found on wild life television programmes. Nio idea what she would be like covered in pastry, though.

Thank you for responding, Heslop. It is good to know that you will have skills to fall back on during the inevitable “lean” periods in your career.
