I heard a similar story from a copper I knew a few years ago and there was an “expose” along similar lines on television a while back. I cease to be surprised or appalled at the connivance between parties involved and on occasion with the media as well. 🙁

Governments job is to regulate the banks, which it did until the legislation was relaxed and in the case of the USA, repealed. It is not government’s job to regulate its citizens. We should be responsible for our own actions.

They are fantastic. You would have difficulty believing they were not the real thing. And one of my favourite aircraft from the “golden days”.:)
