Whereas the Aboriginese in Australia were treated gallantly by the British, just like the Zulu in South Africa (not that they were treated any better by the Boers).
I don’t know if you’re serious about your remark, but if this is your view on history it is extremely biased.
Your remark would be more historically accurate if you’d say that “Has anyone ever noticed that the places ethnically cleansed with the indigenous population being moved to the fringes of society by the British are, while not without fault, mostly wealthy and first world, among the nicer places to live?”
Nor sure about Indians in Canada being “ethnically cleansed” but presumably you are referring to Australia and New Zealand. Do you suppose that the Maoris and Aborigines would have provided their heirs with the quality of life now enjoyed by the populations of those two countries had they not been colonised?
:rolleyes::rolleyes:
If you read the article they have already explained and apologised for the mistake. It isn’t much of a story, anyway, but I have to admit it made me smile….;)

I don’t think it was ever expected to operate out of our airports or regularly controlled through our airways!

Duxford as far as i know are not having one as they have no indoor space to put one.
Why does it have to be inside? They have a row of airliners outside……
Ah, no surprise, but first time for me so very amusing.:)

Long list but at the top – Connie, Strat, Comet 4, Argonaut, Ambassador and DC6.
I doubt that anyone in HMRC would write a letter like that, but as a scam letter it is extremely funny.:D

And still they come, JB – marvellous – you really have an”eye”. And, hear’s to the demand for trucks increasing in the very near future!:)
You have the advantage over me of first hand experience but it does not seem to be the sort of place in which Libyans are free to live their lives as it would appear large numbers of them aspire to. Otherwise why are we seeing the events of the last few days? And as in Syria son will follow father.
