Couldn’t have put it better than the last two posts, es[pecially Bob’s last para. The only bit omitted was the hidden surcharge on each and every electricity bill of 10% plus and if Mr Huhne’s barking mad plans are ever implemented that percentage will double.

The noise they produce is of less concern than the electricity the actually generate in a year. B***** all.

There might well be different local regulations at each venue, but more to the point, there is a deal of difference between one turbine and a wind farm comprising 8 of these monsters.
