A quick look at the links illustrates that the VTTST has raised all its income from donations although I accept that, as shown in your list, there is potential income from trading for all charities, which I had forgotten. As a buyer of items from charity shops, and a donator of items I should have remembered that element. I suppose I see it as another form of donating since the income is gained from the sale of items which are, in the main, donated. And the “profits” are invested to produce income.
But nevertheless, would it not be true to say that a large proportion of the income on which charities operate is from donations in one form or another or the results of donations?
