Dying for what you believe in is a two edged sword. His family might not feel it was worth it unless his death will result in the law being changed. I somehow doubt it.
Linc – so, it wouldn’t have made any difference if he had not been wearing a helmet!!;)

“The euro was expected to have problems as it was born without central economy control. But i believe this will change.”
Without an integrated fiscal system a single currency can never work. And an integrated fiscal system cannot work without a federal control. Everyone knows that is what the Euro is all about and I doubt that, if the EU had the courage to put it to a eurowide referendum, it would have the electorate’s support. The EU bureaucracy has ridden roughshod over its electorate for years and that is why it will do ANYTHING to save the currency.
Utter madness.

I often enjoy speculating on where we would all be if the dreaded Euro had never been introduced and if it was not the EU but still the Common Market. We almost certainly would not be having this debate.

This is another “what if…?” thread. I think we’ve all had our say several times but I suppose a degree of wishful thinking never hurt anyone.
Depends which forecast you look at…..;)
It will be whatever it will be and it won’t stop me attending…..!:)
And, although it is almost sacrilegeous to mention it all the developed nations are or have agreed to “write-off” hundreds of billions of third world debt without the remotest guarantee that it won’t happen again………talk about monopoly money!! Except that is OUR money!

Quite so………
