RE: Ashley is the New P51 at Duxford yet?
I met ‘Yellow Kilo’ for the first time yesterday, nestled in Hanger 2, and she assured me she likes her new home and that she’s sure she’ll be very happy here 😉
RE: Friday afternoon watchtower quiz

Well Stringbag and David have answered your question! I have yet to see her close up, but I did see (and hear) her “coming home” 🙂
RE: Not to be missed

RE: Yorkshire Air museum
Sadsack…is there such a thing as a good or bad museum? I’m interested in the Battle of Britain, so museums such as Hawkinge and Manston are particular favourites as mine…where as the Helicopter Museum is not of such interest to me, but I certainly would not say it’s not a good museum…
And as for the YAM…I love it, I think it’s fantastic, but that’s just my opinion…like David said, get a Museum guide and see what you think from that…but even then, in my humble opinion, some museums are far more interesting and have lots more to see than a brief listing in a museum guide can put across…
RE: Whats your favourite car?
Well…it has wings, is powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin…and entered service in 1938…;)
Obsessed? Not me…~whistles~
I’d go for a VW definitely…a nice new Golf or even a Polo would suit me…rrrrrrrow!
RE: Queen mother funeral flypast
That’s funny…I thought one of the Spitfires was the MkIX too…
But on the subject of flypasts people…has anyone heard which aircraft might be featuring in the Queen’s Jubilee Flypast in June? I know it’s supposed to be showcasing the modern RAF, but will it include former RAF types too?
