What do you plan on doing with it when it is finished? Fly it, is the obvious answer, but for what purpose? Something to bimble about in, or to take around the country, or…

(Is bimble a real word, or just a Moggyism? :D)

Do you plan on starting work on it in 2005 Daz? If so, how long do you estimate it will take?

Talking of the LWH, one day someone just marched in and helped himself to one of the rifles sported by one of the dummies and was never seen again. I believe the dummy was then given a replica of said weapon.

As a former MA, I had many dealings with some of the lovely anklebiters that often frequent Duxford. I think my “favourite” was the pair of Scouts who thought it would be great fun to have a go at the ‘Jessie Lumb’ (the lifeboat in Hanger 3) with a Yale key…Needless to say, I had them out of Hanger 3 so fast their feet didn’t touch the ground on the way out…Fortunately their leader was standing outside the door, and was none too impressed by the little darlings’ behaviour…

About as pathetic as my dear husband’s attempts…at airshows, an aircraft will make a pass along the display line, and then be halfway to Royston before husband has worked out exactly where the plane is in the sky…
