Daz…for ‘Babycakes’ think a children’s nursery rhyme done in a garage style with the most irritating chorus known to man (and woman)…
Now come on Daz…I cannot believe that you could consider ‘Call On Me’ to be worse than ‘Babycakes’ by 3 of a Kind…now THAT is one ******* irritating song 😡 😉
Yes Daz…I think most people lose their rag at times…and sometimes over the silliest things…I know I do 🙁 I try not to, but I have a fiery temper which I inherited from my father, and there are times when the phrase “red rag to a bull” could have been coined for me. I went on an anger management course last year which helped me immensely, and taught me a number of “coping mechanisms” with my anger.
Sometimes it is best to let the anger out, as long as it’s over and done with. I have long maintained that seething and keeping your anger locked upside does not do you any good. This doesn’t necessarily mean shouting/swearing your head off at the matter concerned or punching something/someone…If something (or someone) has really ****** me off, then I head off for a walk, or turn the stereo on loud and howl along, or grab the vacuum cleaner and give the carpet a good hard hoovering…stuff like that…
One thing to be sure of though, if you do lose your temper in front of someone, or at them, once you’ve calmed down make sure you apologise to them…Cats included…Go home tonight, tickle your cat under the chin and tell her you’re sorry…She will have forgotten all about it already, and is probably curled up on your bed right now, dreaming of mice 🙂

It’s almost a cathartic moment…I have wondered for years what that actually did 😀
Me too 😀 Well practicing how to do it certainly passed some of the time while the forums were down 😀
W/Cmdr Ashley GSPA (Gold Spitfire Polishing Award) present and correct 😀
Pssssssssst! Whalebone! ~Poke poke~ 😉
Is that the Twilight Zone theme I can hear? 😮
Seriously, thanks for the pictures gentlemen 🙂
Oi! What’s wrong with Duxford huh? 😡
Nah seriously, I know you’ve done work experience here before, so a change of scene would be good. If I were you, I would first of all work write down a few possibilities e.g. Yeovilton, Hendon, Cosford, then see if you could either get there each day without too much hassle, or see if you have family or friends you could stay with during that period, and then contact some of these places and see what can be done.

P.S. I mentioned you to Dennis and Dave the other day, and they said how ambitious and enthusiastic you are…they both think you’ll go far 😉
Sorry Dave, I had evidently forgotten to come back to this thread 😮 I’ll answer your request in a PM 🙂
A belated happy Birthday from a dark and gloomy Duxford, Daz 🙂
Trumper…were you by any chance listening to Q103 this morning? 😀
I have it on very good authority that the Bird has sampled the Red Lion’s best lasagne and chips this lunchtime, and is now travelling east with her travelling companion in search of dinner…
Is the oven on yet, Snapper? 😀
Hope you get your ebay woes sorted out, Andrew. ‘Fraid the computer gaming thing is not my thing, but I do believe my husband would understand everyword above, and would no doubt get all excited about the thought of an A1200 😀
Hi Anna, I’m good thanks, you? Maybe we can share him? I might have a bit of a problem trying to get Nigel Harman, Anthony Stewart Head, David Walliams, Kid Rock and John Travolta (circa ‘Grease’ era) all in the same bed, at the same time 😀 😀 😀
Sorry Andrew, can’t help there.
Love “muppet” as an insult, I use it all the time much to my husband’s disgust 😀 (What did you get banned for?)
I like Kid Rock & Guns & Roses 😉 😉 Anna 😀 😀 😀
~Purrs~ I know I wouldn’t kick Kid Rock out of bed for farting 😉 😀
