Fin kits????? What’s happend to the fin????? Why do you need a fin kit?????? All those ribs and fiddly metal bits….

The report in the local rag seems to think that the tower will stay but the new road will be very close to it, wouldn’t suprise me if the airfield were to go however. As 92fis says, houses (and businesses) are going up at an incredible rate and with the revised A14 making good progress it would seem logical to pop a link road in to ease some congestion, airfields in Suffolk are on the way out I’m afraid.

‘IF’ it gets restored and make it into the air then it will most likely have to abide by the same rules….
By the time this happens however the rules will have changed again…. Pluss we will have run out of fuel to fly the thing and besides which I’ll be so old by then I won’t be able to make it to airshows to see it….
