I too have ventured into the digital world with a Sony DSC P1, could be interesting to see what results I can get from that, some interesting tips on here, all being well I will get to have a practice on Saturday morning with it and will post up some results.
I remember hearing about this multi seat Mustang in the past (along with the Firefly) however I have yet to see a picture of it, somewhere at home I have it’s I.D.
We’ve got one in the basement of our university too (sorry, the file size of the photos is too big to post them).
Reminds me of getting a Yak 11 out of a basement a few years ago, it must have been put in there before all the services as it was impossible to get the wing out either vertically or horizontally so we had to carry the thing lent over at 45 degrees through a number of passages in this basement until we finally got it outside to the point where the crane could lift it on to the lorry!!!!
Interesting to read the two articles in Flypast and Aeroplane side by side, there seems to be two sides to every story
Because it can!!!
We do a nice line in bottled water if that counts, other than that the only refreshment is when the canopy is opened prior to landing, unless it’s cold and raining then you just get rain fired at you at great speed.
Well I guess you could squeeze in another behind the rear seat if that person didn’t want to be strapped in, also possibly 1 or 2 inside the hell hole behind the bulkhead, they would need to be a bit thin though to get up through the access panel.
1 passenger at a time thank you, unless it has silly things like a fuselage fuel tank and armour plate then is reduces the carrying capacity significantly.
Well there you go then, seems there is no mix up after all.
😀 I saw him on Saturday, that’s how I know 😉
Don’t tell me you are back in the UK?????
That would explain where TomW has vanished to then, payment by Stella methinks.
You mean those white flying holiday coaches? Maybe that’s the Leg Ends suprise?????
Wasn’t at North Weald last time I looked!!!
Best laid plans and all that…. Mrs Yak11Fan was not well this weekend so I got to stay in and look after her. However according to reports received this evening the strip is not only long enough for a PA28 but also a P51D, as I understand it the first time a P51 has been to Knettishall since the war. Sounds as though it was a good day.
Does, ‘sit there, shut up and don’t touch anything’ count as a briefing?
