Yep, later found in a semi dismantled state at Coventry before passing through Aces High’s hands on the way to Sandtoft.

The Sandtoft one is in better condition then the one at Weald, or at least it was when I last saw it, at least it has a spar.

I’m still intending to be there in the 172, I understand that one of the more vintage types from Hardwick will also be dropping in at some point just to scare the neighbours, weather permitting of course.

Generally it’s around the end of June each year, as for whether the Mustangs attend the fly in’s I can’t promise it all depends on what else is going on at the time, having said that you can from time to time see a Mustang at Old Buck, one lives locally and the owner of the other tends to pop up from time to time. I’ll try to give some notice if I find out in time in the future, are you local to the area Monkey?

The other B17 is the French based Pink Lady.

TFC have previously operated 2 P63’s which as I understand it are a bit different from the P39. I guess the hype is down to the fact that the P39 is as rare as a rare thing.
