As I understand it you may well have an airworthy Hurricane down that way soon.

As for G-HRLI, together with many Hurricane Restorations these days new tubes woodwork etc are needed, however much of the stainless steel plates and many other parts are reused during restoration. If anyone can breathe life into a Hurricane project such as this the Hawker Restorations are the people to do it, the next project to come from them will be the most authentic Hurricane seen to date and is an absolute beauty.

Now Mike you must know that the relish will make an incredible amount of mess inside the Mustang during aerobatics, make it look like someones been shot :p

That sounds like it might not be a bad idea, I’ll be up for DX as well if things go according to plan.

I’m going to try my best to be there on the 15th, I’ll have a Mustang shirt on and probably a beer in hand 😉
