    I’m not sure that the word ‘donated’ was the word that her owners at the time would have used, at one point the idea was to fly her to the UK.

    Fascinating stuff about the Lavenham collection, having grown up close to Lavenham long after the aircraft had left however I have been trying over the years to find out more about what was there and what the plans were, I’d love to hear / see more about the collection.

    Started as a volunteer with the DAS at Duxford 20 years ago, left Duxford 7 years ago, had a go at earning money from vintage aircraft for a while and now help out a friend from time to time.
