Thought it was a valid question personally, you hear something, want to know if there is any truth in it so ask the question to see what anyone else may have heard, thats what keeps the message boards going, hate for another aircraft to go missing this year, the last one caused me no end of worry in tracking it down.

Seems to me like a similar case with the Buchon/Me109G conversions that abound.

But surely tou would need to change the engine mount and the associated strengthening otherwise the Merlin would fall out of the Griffon mount?
