The aircraft is not being rebuilt at North Weald. Hawker Restorations are rebuilding it.

What happened to the TBM? Anyone??

Sherman Aircraft have had it for sale for a few years, assembled and based in the States, it also turned up at Kermit Weeks place briefly a couple of years ago.
Dont think it ever came back to the UK.

The aircraft definately flew on occasion, I think it even displayed at Falaise (or somewhere similar)
Anyway, it was stored abroad after Doug Arnold died, then came back to Earles Colne, then Bournmouth and on to North Weald before flying off to France to catch the boat to America.

Ah, an example of Boeing’s finest has arrived at Duxford, looks like its time for a visit….
