Isn’t G-BXFI based at North Weald now? Could this have been the Hunter you saw?
Doesn’t look as though the Allison is attached to the mount, certainly looks like an Allison Mustang mount.
The OFMC Mustang wore Australian markings, Old Crow (N167F) wore RAF markings for a season in the early 90s
Historic Flying Ltd then?
didn’t think it was with them either
So can you tell us when PP972 will be flying again? or is it one of those ARCo secrets!
didn’t think ARCo were doing PP972.
They must be the Tigercat P&W 2800’s then. I couldn’t see the number in the first image.
Or Thunderbolt, Corsair, Hellcat, Bearcat…
Thanks for the info.
In the early 1990s there was a replica Avro 504 built that was exhibited at Duxford. Does anyone know where that was built?
Regards
I am aware of one (G-ECKE) which was at Duxford in the late 90s early 00s built by AJD Engineering it was exported to New Zealand in 2002 and was later damaged by a tree.

joined at different times during the exhibition’s career by the SPAD belonging to Louis Bleriot III
Whatever happened to that SPAD, I remember it arriving and I watched it leave, but for the life of me cant remember where it ended up.
