Would anyone have a recent picture of the Duxford cockpit section? I had been to Duxford twice( quite a few moons ago) and I don’t remember what it looked like.. 🙂
Does Duxford still have a Typhoon 1b Cockpit section on site?
Imagine if you had a RAF F4 example also..they would make great book ends..
Do the F-104 and F4 still have engines in them?
Where these aircraft flown into Converty Airport @ MAM or did they arrive by road?
I wonder how many complete Sabre engines are still in existence…I have seen some sectional examples in museums…
When was the last Sabre engine was run?

Did the Russell Spitfire have mech issues last w/e…it was still great of them to have their Hurricane and Harvard avail for the event..

I am very proud that our local CAvM museum together with the strong support of the Groups and our own forces have put together such a great event for our veterans and current forces…
And I can’t wait to see more Merlins in the air over the next complete of years…
Andrew
If you have to dream….dream BIG eh Peter….
This was my first time that I had seen and heard 8 merlins in the sky together….
It was a nice surprise for me also…I just wish I would have spend more time watching the Lancaster group flypast instead of watching it thru the camera lens.. 🙂
