Anyone know if Shearwater Aviation Museum still has the Tracker # 1501?
I thought the HUP looked familiar….
Great piece of history..
That CF-116B would be a fine addition to any museum’s collection..she still looks great in polished silver…
Mike,
That is excellent news regarding moving all the aircraft indoors..the Avenger looks great now…
I wonder what # Voodoo they will be getting 🙂 If they managed to get that indoors it would be good for ex CAF Voodoos as not many are uncover in Canada

Great pictures Mike…I have always wanted to visit this collection…do they still have a few aircraft outside like they did many years ago…it looks like many of those airframes might have been moved indoors..and they appear to be doing much better now!! 🙂
And the Boeing Helicopter under restoration..any history on that one?
Thanks Steve…for facts….very interesting actually…
Is the Hispano Suiza motor an inverted V-12?
And yes maybe Hamilton could use something with alittle foreign taste.. 🙂
Thanks for sharing those…it looks to be designed for a small pilot…
Interesting I have never read much about the Hispano Suiza before..
I am not familiar with the Hispano Suiza…what is the history on that one?
Here is a few close up of the example at CAM Ottawa…just wish they had the room to put the wings back on 😮
Not sure on the history of this example but the restoration must have been done some time ago..
I kinda like the aluminium on top with blue under-surfaces….
Ottawa’s static example looks a little rough but it grows on you after awhile 🙂
Tis shame as I do like to see plane sometimes represented in the scheme that they actually did service in…… !!!
Has anyone every kept a flying one in a Spanish Air Force scheme? Most flyers seem to be in German Luftwaffe colours.
Sure I would be interested in seeing any interior shots…I am trying to see what differences are found between the 109 panel and the HA-1112.
I noticed that this one was quite unique to this example N109ME..seems to be a modern conversion…I assume..
