    More News…

Yes the Bolly is a slow project but they seem to be doing a very detailed job on that one..they are now working on the wings…be patient I say…They seem to have a number of spare airframes to work with..

I think the Buffalo will be static display. It is planned to paint the static restored aircraft as CAF 115461 in UN colours. That was shot downby Syrian SAMS in 1974.

The tracker I believe was an instructional airframe..maybe from CFB Borden…

Yes the blue one is indeed a Cornell..I think “Arm” was referring to the earlier photo of the Anson with the Cessna hidden behind it..

I think the plane in the Kee Bird documentary was the DH Caribou,,it had the piston powered engines while the later version named the DH Buffalo was powered by TurboProps..but I could be wrong….

Are any of the other aircraft at the museum maintained in running condition? The Viscount?

In order to keep the engines in running condition..how often did they do engine runs on the aircraft?…I know that turbines don’t like to be inactive for too long!

Tis sad to think that was her last live performance,,but maybe those RR Tynes will sing again…never say never…

Did the Vanguard and the Canadair CL-44 share the same engines? with maybe different power rating…and what other propliners used those engines?

Are they planning any cosmetic restoration/repaint of the Vulcan before it is moved to it’s new location?

What are the opinions available to those surviving vulcans for needing replacements?

Can they be reproduced or repaired?
