Peter,
I think the Lancaster move was just for the event. I would guess she will be back into the smaller bldg once the event is over. The restoration ahead looks almost as big as the Halifax restoration at Trenton. Lot’s of corrosion to remove and repair but they have a pretty complete airframe to start with and what appears to be some pretty helpful volunteers.
Yes their tracker looks very smart. I think it was repainted the last time I saw it last year but this is the first time I have seen outside on display.:)
And idea on the snowbird 114043 that was being used for cockpit rides for the kids…
I am guessing it is now a training aid. As it had on it’s tail 889B
Their other Tutor 114168 was not on public display. It was stored in the museum area. But I still managed a quick picture.
Andrew
Here are a few more taken on the Saturday also.
That’s great news…

Great news for my local airshow…
Will she based at Carp or do you think she will fly in from YOW on daily basis?
Andrew
Great pics Mike…. So is the restoration area that houses the Anson and Harvard now open to the Public on weekends. I was thinking of planning a trip to Trenton in Mid March and seeing the restoration area would be a great bonus.
Andrew
I am a Big fan of the DH Comet also and I did manage to see her on static display in 1997 at Brunty…so I just hope that she will be preserved in some taxi type condition for a few more years to come….add a taxi Viscount to the group and you have a new British pair….
How often is the DH Comet run up these days?
Andrew
CAvM in Ottawa hosted a Battle of Britain Event for veterans on Sunday. Vintage Wings and CWHM provided the aircraft…quite the event for our veterans.
Andrew

Nice Beavers.

Andrew….
And a few more of the collection and the visiting aircraft.
The Avro Arrow replica is quite a bit of work and the Avro Lancaster appears to be a very long term project…they will be busy for quite a few more years yet…
