Great to see a dedicated biz jet thread!
Did you not get stopped from taking photos at LBG? I thought there was that ban on photography at Paris airports?
I shot that C-20H when it came to Luton:

Top quality shots mate!
I’ve been waiting for that lighting & runway combination for weeks… Love that Emirates 777 shot.
Great shots Kevin!
The only thing I’d point out is the sharpening mask on the first BMI baby shot. When a high radius is used, you can really see the white area by the wheels. If you use a smaller number for the ‘radius pixels’ that should sort it.
Really like the last shot. Sometimes freezing the action can have just as much impact as exaggerating it.
Peter,
If you go all the way round the airport perimeter and work your way to Belmer Road, you’ll find a load of cars parked on the airport side of the road.
You can park there, and then walk south along the fence line, until you see a huge mound of earth, and you’re sorted. 😉 You shouldn’t get any hassle either.
Great pics BTW.
You need to make sure direct linking is turned on within your fotopic account.
Go into the ‘copyright protection’ heading in fotopic, and make sure it is on ‘YES’.
My first outing to Biggin Hill, and was slightly disappointed. Took 1 hour to get in, and well over an hour to get out again. It was criminal how they could queue hundreds of cars down a country lane, with golfers trying to drive up the opposite direction, blocking the roads completely!
As for the air show itself, it wasn’t so bad but it doesn’t come close to any of Duxford’s Air shows or Fairford’s RIAT.
From a photographic point of view, it’s a nightmare as you’re facing straight into the sun the whole day.
Think that’ll be my first and last visit to Biggin.
Hi,
Log into fotopic and then select the collection you want to link a photo to. Click on the individual photo and a window will pop up. Go to ‘info’ and from there you can find the original link.

Hope this helps.
BTW. I must have been standing right next to you last Saturday at Biggin Hill. I had a brown cap on, and was using the same 100-400mm lens as you, only on a 350D body. Ring any bells?
Cheers,
Alex
Super Shots!
Being into biz jets, I really like your Citation shot. It’s not often you get a background like that!
I’ve been to that spot, and the ideal gear is a 100-400mm on a DSLR (with a x1.6 crop factor).
A prime 500mm on a full frame camera would be ok.
Thanks for such quick replys!
I’ve never been to Biggin Hill before so it’ll all be new to me.
Thanks again,
Alex
Great photos!
I’m thinking about going to Biggin tomorrow, and just wondered if you could help me out.
I’m after shots like these:

http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5744225&nseq=104
… and just wondered if you knew where they were taken from (roughly). I’ve tried to contact the photographer, but no reply yet.
Many thanks in advance,
Alex
great shots mate!
Particularly like the ERJ BMI.
Great prop blur on the Dash!
Don’t worry about the 747 Adam. It’s displaying at the Biggin Hill Air Fair this weekend if you wanted to catch it in better weather.
Looking forward to seeing more of your pics.
Great shots!
Nice to see someone’s getting some sun. The weather is awful down south today.
