That Jordanian livery looks great on the entire fleet. Nice shots CW.
Very nice indeed Peter. I flew on an Interflug IL18 to Tirana in 1987, they were beautiful machines. The condition of the aircraft was immaculate, inside and out.
Why should we give this story any credence whatsoever other than as predictable political point scoring?
I agree with that. They’re still miffed from the passing of UN resolution 1973. Rather nostalgic to see the Russians still up to their old ‘cold war’ antagonism towards the west..

Nice ones Keith. That Citation pic would make an ideal candidate for a certain magazine’s caption competition:D
I can well remember seeing a trio of Sir Freddie’s new A300s, sitting idle at STN for some time, back in the 80s. A sad sight.:(
Well I spent 2 years living on the airfield with a great view from my room across the airport so I photographed nearly everything that passed through. Anything you’re particularly interested in?
I enjoy any ‘old airliner’ shots, so it would be great to see anything that you have. Mind you, I could also be party to any CAAC craft.:)
No worries,i used to live 10 mins from the museum…til i moved oop north anyway yes i have seen the Olympic model too..:D
I’m sure glad you’ve seen it, I was beginning to doubt my own sanity, as I no longer have the book in question;)
Nice one Dr.S. The car parks where I live are full to overflowing with big black cars, sorry, but most seem to be 4WDs. I don’t get this black car thing, we’re all going to end up in one soon enough. We have shops with ladies clothing items in their windows at over £500 a shot, a jewellery store with several items in its displays costing over £2000, and a watch costing much more than that, and there appeared to be no shortage of takers. Last Saturday was so busy here, other than Xmas time, I had never seen anything like it. What’s all this guff about a recession?

Well if anyone earned the right to rest in peace, it was this lady. She was a great actor, and her work for others less fortunate than herself is well known and appreciated by very many people. May she indeed RIP.:(

Great images, thanks for sharing. I really like that Kingfisher livery.
Neil, sorry mate, didn’t realise you volunteered there, sounds logical I guess.
Did you ever see the Olympic Trident model whilst you were there? In the picture that I saw of it, it was in some kind of store room resting on top of a wooden crate with the wings detached.
Neil.
Welcome to the forum sir. A great shot, I do hope we’re going to see some more:)
