Does anyone else think that there is something really creepy about the world being able to look down your driveway??

Nope! I think it’s an amazing tool Google have given to us, for example I’ve just been checking the areas in Washington where my hotel is located and so on.

I’ve already noticed my aunts house has appeared on Google UK: Street View and I think it’s awesome!! I just think it’s going to be very amusing when the other houses/areas associated with my family show up on there soon.

How can anyone possibly complain? the faces are blanked out as are car numberplates and even though it is possible to zoom into the front of houses it isn’t excellent quality as it does get very blurred and unclear, hardly enough for it to be called an invasion of privacy.

I saw one of these Google cars drive past me so I’m just waiting for myself to appear on there :D.

In this era of losses, why would an airlne sacrifice a profitable route?

Maybe because if push comes to shove and Air India really needed some cash input they can sell some of the ‘valuable’ LHR slots they have, as opposed to losing the LHR slots and having a route which does make money but won’t be enough to keep your head above water!! maybe I’m wrong….

I think the point he’s trying to make is Air India have alot more competition from LHR on all the routes they serve I believe, when compared with BHX they were the only carrier offering a direct service to Amritsar, Delhi and Toronto all year round.

The other carriers in the frame such as Turkemnistan and Air Slovakia etc don’t seem to be as much of an established airline with neither having a proper website to make bookings through etc, with most of their bookings coming from local travel agents, Air India had this set up aswell as the website so did have an advantage there.

I remember BHX management being adament Air India would return this summer after the local media blew it out of proportion that were pulling out, it seems this is what it’s now come too. I really do hope they return, I doubt it began in 2005 and they kept it going untill late 2008 if it was making a loss!! Air India would of been out of there a long time ago if this was the case.

    WANTED

    Daz rating: :):):):)

I remember going to see that at the cinema, I honestly wasn’t expecting much after being dragged along with some mates but it was alot better than I expected!

Rather entertaining with a well put together cast.

The Octavia has been binned as the car will really just be too big. On personal recommendation, after reading loads of reviews and looked at one in car park today I’m now looking at getting a Nissan Note TDCi.

    Ford Focus maybe?

A very large amount on the second hand market and a proven decent runabout, know a few happy owners of them.

something to bear in mind might be the changes to road tax (starting next month ?) might be worth checking out the CO2 emission figures for any (post 2001) cars under consideration.

    cheers baz

Indeed well that’s the bonus with mine running into a low tax band costing me £145 a year and that won’t change with the tax band alterations :).

The 2.0D with FWD has none of the problems that the 4WD petrol do.

    Insurance group 14.

Go on.. you know you want to 🙂

Stunning picture Moggy , that is incredibly tempting now considering my Peugeot is only two insurance groups below yours!! :D;)

Underneath they are Mondeo so easy servicing, cheap parts.

    Really!? 😮

Putting the high insurance groups associated with Jags aside I did see the odd cheap Jag within range for me last summer but the “assumed” high service/maintenance costs seriously put me off.

Guess it depends how you define cheap Moggy :D.
