Love the thread idea and some of the shots we have! here’s my contribution in a quick job edit 😀 .

Nice one, how/where did they see your picture ? Was it on here ? 😉
No such luck, Jetphotos.net 😀 . You can see my selection from Jetphotos.net in the link below :diablo: :dev2: 😉 :p .
It just taught me to take pictures of as many biz-jets as you can!
The Air India 777 looks odd, but I kinda like it!
Yeah that’s what a quick edit does for you :diablo: .
I really should get myself down to BHX sometime. Looks like there are some pretty good photography spots!
Would be more than glad to show you around 😀 .
Thanks again all for the comments 🙂 .
United Airlines, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, although none leave directly at that time. The closet is within 20 minutes or so at 11:50.
The Canon 350D certainly seems to be a popular choice amongst aviation snappers these days. What lenses are you using ? 😉
Yes well it’s kind of refunding my money, I took a picture of a biz-jet in Dublin and the company who owned it wanted a hundred copies of it on postcards, got a healthy amount for that 😉 .
As for the lens I use the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG MACRO.
Thanks for the comments 🙂 .
Dial up? It’s barely Broadband friendly!
Agreed! that took forever :diablo: 😀 .
Love the shots though, especially the Thomson touchdown shot and Jet2 757 rotation. Great selection! 🙂
As always an interesting selection from all 🙂 .
As for me I wanted to try something different so flew the route Iqaluit (YFB) to Resolute Bay (YRB) which is a very small community in Northern Canada. Used a First Air B737-200.
Weather wasn’t as bad as I was expecting although it looked bloody freezing and was snowing alot during the approach, see here is the final moments of the flight. An ILS approach to RWY 35, enjoy :D.

Great selection Lance, look’s like a rare reg to be seen on the CO 😉 .
Well for now I’m open to anything, obviouly Dan has pointed out that we are in PMI on the 9th and I’m also trying to get to AMS on the 30th with Stuart and Dan.
Look’s like I’ll be a last minute confirmer to the event 😉 and I should have a car by then so it’ll be even easier 😀 .
Didn’t actually notice till I saw this thread :D, looks great although it probably needs to be a bit bigger because now you have quite a big whitespace underneath it.
