Is it a 1/72nd scale model, or are you just mean with your photos? 🙂

See if you can spot it on this drawing and come back to us.

Thank you for the input so far, to answer a few questions.

I had puchased this panel at Brenzett.(Vacb) interesting that may be from a Turret, good point reference Mosquito.

(Bruce) I was also thinking along the lines of a possible bomber. as majority of fighters if not all had a different set up for the Gyro Dimmer selector.

Hi Whitley i wasnt looking to sell the unit as quite facinated by it, as never seen one like it before.

Ref Stirling (Peter) i will try and look down this avenue..

So at least i can cross of the Mosquito..

Again thank you for your above replys.

I still think its a bit of a catch 22 where as sellers woudnt be to concerned within reason what they pay for a pitch if the buyers were in abundance.. but the buyers wont be in full force if the sellers are down..so how do you rectify this.to get that happy balance.( it still may be because its a new event)

Although there was a fair few buyers coming through after the early bird window.

Lets just hope these aero jumbles dont come extinct altogether. for me personally if theres just a few tables i will still make the effort as for me the buzz is still there. (but no doubt for the orginizers this may not be enough)

So what would make more people turn out for these events? yes like Andy says age certainly comes into it. but there still must be enough of us out there to support these events like they rightly deserve.

You could say where they are situated.. but again for me i would think nothing of travelling from Kent to Newark for an aerojumble of the size of Brenzett yesterday. (incidently Newark i enjoyed also)

Is it maybe last time out at Brenzett it was not as yet on the size scale of the last Shoreham event. hence people not returning this time round. which is always a shame as if the buyers come more sellers will come. so what can be done to get a happy medium for the say buyer sellers and orginizers? is it more advertising hence awareness or is it as Andy says is it an age thing. is the interest in this great hobby slowly diclining?

Maybe some of you guys can post your thoughts (please not to nagative) as we can all put in that input but some positive suggestions. as i always have stated these events need support or they will disapear for good. (then its back to the keyboard dealing..

Visited there today to collect a lot of stuff a few well known folks collecting their purchases , sadly late on just before I left a local scrap man came to collect his stuff some 20 lots mainly Anson. I told him what it was but like he said he paid little for it and it was going into the pot tomorrow. He was very helpful and we did save some nice pieces to put on show. He did offer to deliver the lot to our museum for a very fair figure But we have not got the room or more spare cash sadly!

Always a shame to hear this, but well done for rescuing a few bits.. even if someone could of purchased the rest and stuck em on ebay at least a few more parts of the faithful old Annie could of been saved.. shame.

If someone can give me a description of the stall location in Hangar 2, I am happy to try and help DaveR make contact with the seller. That said it may have to wait until Sunday as I’m due to be at NAM for most of the day tomorrow. 🙂

    Hi TwinOtter23.

From what i remember the Typhoon Wing parts were as you came into the main hangar if you took the left hand row followed it around past the stall on the left in the corner selling a great selection of photos, then past the stall selling model aircraft kits then at the end of the row on the left before the corner was the Gentleman selling the typhoon parts, he also had what looked to be an Avro Anson seat. (May be wrong)

So i would hazard a guess at from the start of the left hand row there would of been some 7 stalls..

    Sorry vague but from memory..

    Hope this helps..

    Hi Redhillwings,
For my first time to the event i was pleasently surprised a few nice items, a nice cased and what i believe to be Hurricane conto grip firing button with gas primer (With history) in cased in an old looking display cabinet. not sure if this sold.
I personally picked up 74 letters to a flight enginner that covered his trainning and ending up on Lancasters from 1941 to 1945.
Just started to research letter by letter, so will take a few months to complete.
A lot of Jet parts and a fair few ww2, missed out on the Proctor control Quadrant as hesitated like you do.. went back and sold..

The Leather Bottle in Cobham Kent (Still open) ,was once used by Airman and Pilots of Gravesend aerodrome. Possibly the likes of 501 Squadron.

Wouldn’t it be great to pop in for a pint and come across these guys (Heroes) ..

[QUOTE=Anon;2195917]I’d definitely recommend visiting the jumble at Brenzett. I went to the last one and, even though it was a 600-mile round trip it was still worth the effort. Perhaps not that many stalls but with an excellent mix of material to browse, I anticipate that the event will grow to replace the Tangmere/Fontwell/Shoreham event.

It’s been an almost yearly pilgrimage for me and a few mates and rarely disappoints. I intend to be there though don’t know whether I’ll hire a pitch or not, yet.
