i dont think Mr Abramovich would worry about fuel costs, seeings he owns Russia’s 2nd largest oil company,i would think he gets a discount somewhere down the line.

Yep,on the M1 embankment, although some people did get killed in this tragic accident,it was a miracle that it didnt happen at rush hour, otherwise many more people could of been hurt/killed

As i have said befor,i cant stand MO’L,but what he has done to Ryanair is quite amazing, a struggling airline with handful of Romainian built BAC11-1’s and a couple of ATR42’s into one Europes leading lowcost airlines

i think the problem with EasyJet is,they started to stray from the Loco bible, only use 1 aircraft type, use regional airports instead of main airports, and some of there prices are not cheap, i did a little research on 4 destinations and found out i could get a BA flight cheaper for example…i wanted go to prague in October, Easyjet quoted me £50 each way, which i thought wasnt bad..looked it up on BA and they wanted £78 Rtn and the flight times were friendlier too and i get a meal thrown in,and if anything did go wrong,i got all the experiance of BA and its Oneworld partners and franchise operators for back up

I think Easyjet started to slide when they took over Go!

First Flight experiance was on an Orion 732 to Palma
Only thing i can remember is the aborted take off, taxi back to up to the runway then airborne,i was probably around 5 or 6 at the time, and acting like a little sh-te,whinging because my ears were hurting alot,in the end the stewardess gave me 4 cans of lemonade and a handful of boiled sweets..the only other thing was our Hotel wasnt all that far from the airport, and in the Horror car (a Renault 4) we saw our 732 parked there for the entire week….other flights were on BY732’s which were great fun,got numerous flight deck visits, a B-Cal DC10 to Faro, great airline and David Essex was on our flight too and mother got his autograph, along with every other woman in the same age catergory.. Ohh and i cant forget my first 757 ride on Air Europe….ohhh and another one was a DanAir 727 in Faro, checking in to come home, they put an announcement out over the PA asking for us and the friends we were on holiday with, went to the place got checked in seperately and 8 of us had a 727 to ourselves

Perhaps Mr Kelleher “could” be head hunted for Rod Eddingtons position at BA when he leaves?

i respect Lord King, because of what he made BA into
    Sir Micheal Bishop of BM
    Howard Kellerher of Southwest
Errol Cossey of Air2000 of which i can proudly say,i was on one of there first flights, and still have in the inflight magazine
Micheal O’leary,of Ryanair, only because of what he built Ryanair up from, but now i think he is an arrogant so and so

i love the A310,flew on one with Cyprus Airways from Heathrow to Larnaca, beautiful airplane, good airline, extremely nice captain who explained the complications of weight and balance, and fuel burn didnt understand any of it…but then again i was only 11 or 12 at the time
