    Is this not G-VBUS?

Jethro, You could be right as there were Virgin engineers at the aircraft, I just didn’t get close enough to get the reg.

Great shots Scotty, it is rare to see the Bravo B762 in UK airspace.

Seeing the PIA T7 makes me wonder about the EK T7-300 (I know lateral thinking) what are the passenger loads like on the EK route and is it a daily rotation?

    All the best

    Sorry BRS Guys!

    http://nextgenerationairline.com/pdf/brs.pdf

Confirmed closure of the BRS operation. All routes except JER to be dropped. All the best to those affected.

Saw it on the news earlier today. BACON also handle Air Southwest and SN Brussels at BRS so they will be looking for a new agent also.

I believe that some of the BRS routes (EDI, GLA, DUS, FRA, CDG, JER) will be kept if you look at the updated route map they are still showing just not yet announced.
Good to see the deal finally done, and a new route from EDI -on top of the already announced Bergerac- although no news on it’s frequency yet, however with HAM lost there’s no gain really.

Thanks for that RIP, It was announced on the local TV station that the only routes to be dropped from Bristol would be Milan, Zurich and Munich, good news, however the BACON staff were pretty angry that they heard about it first from the press! Has anyone noticed if the BACON aircraft are sporting any FLYBE markings now that the take over is complete.

Si, according to the BE website it’s the 20 routes above and nothing else.

    1L.

Damm that’s frustrating, looks like Easyjet (Bristol) will be rubbing their hands today!

I hope they keep the Bristol routes open; despite the Easyjet competition passenger loads are still quite high. Also the Milan, Zurich, Frankfurt, and Munich routes I believe are doing well. The only route flown by FLYBE out of Bristol is to Jersey as they pulled the Belfast Harbour and Toulouse routes late last year.

Top shots mate, the Ryr rainbow shot and the close up of the CFM engine are fantastic; also nice to see the Clickair in Irish skies.

    Kevin,
Great shots, I love the head on VS 346 with the reflections of the piano keys and engines on the belly and the Qatari with the VS in the background. What lens are you using and where were you on the Bath road, seems a great place for photography.

    All the best
