I need to use wha tsoftware to play it? It seeems the WMP can’t read it.
I’m quite behind of this MiG-29N, but,
The Blue Vixen (or Blue Fox) radar has more range than the Topaz? But Topaz can match with the F-16 APG-68?
On Flex quote, the Luftwaffe MiG-29 might be quite different from the MiG-29N since what I know is that MiG-29N is basically the 9.12SD, while the xLuftwaffe is pure 9.12
According to the mag also, the MiG-29N pilots are the most trained and capable pilots in RMAF since need to deal with less advance cockpit compare to F/A-18D and even Hawk 208.
Wonder they can beat RAAF F/A-18A in air combat drill, unfortunately loss against RN Sea Harrier
I’ve read a military magazine recently saying that the MiG-29 cockpit still use the analog technology. Even the cockpit of Hawk 208 is far better than MiG-29.
Still no picture inside the cocpit?
btw, one of the insider said that MiG-29N has one MFD at the right side of the cockpit panel. Wonder what is it?
That’s the reason of “fitted for but not fitted with”!
Unlike RMAF’s F/A-18D, I’ve already saw the AIM-7M, AIM-9S, Maverick, Rocket pod, AGM-84A.
Tu-95/142 or Il-76?
The picture of MiG-29N shown the AA-10 training round ( black stripes). So far, I still do not see the life round on the MiG-29N.
MiG-29N is wired for R-77 but for now it still not present in the inventory. The availability of it in RMAF will create unrest in other ASEAN countries to have their own AMRAAM.
Even, I doubt that AA-10 Alamo is in RMAF inventory.
I hope the heavily considered SMT upgrade program will be a reality. Fully digitalised cockpit with large 3 colour MFDs.
The first picture I believed is belong to Royal Malaysian air force MB339A.
I’m more than interested to see the MiG-29N cockpit. They said that the MiG-29N has been upgraded, but recent Malaysia magazine said the MiG-29N still use analog cockpit. ???
