I think they’ll get A350’s whenever they’re built. If Aer Lingus did go for 787’s then i think they would be more interested in the -10 version, but that hasn’t be officially announced yet,and if it does come along then it would enter service at a similar time to the A350 so it remains to be seen really.

As far as i’m aware SAA might still have an A330 or two in their fleet, the bmi one has returned to them. The problem with DUB-CPT is that the A330 can’t fly it non-stop in both directions,LTU’s service has a stop in palma on the way back(i think).

I doubt we’ll see Baltimore reintroduced, apparently the loads weren’t great at all for a finish.

I’ve read that the passenger loads were not great on that route but the belly cargo was quite lucrative for aer lingus.

The two new A330’s are for expansion not fleet even though some of the current A330’s are around 12yrs old.

It’s possible to get no fence in the shots when aircraft are landing on 28,but take-off shots are totally ruined. There are a few new spots further down the runway that look to be very good.Unfortunately i haven’t been up to try them out since i started back in college early september 😡 ,it’s my final year & i finding myself with little time to do anything! 😡

    I have a fuji S5600 & a nikon
d50,i got that in august this year.I have to say that the fuji is a very good camera for what it is,i’ve taken many photos of aircraft at speed witth no problems, the shutter lag is quite small. However the D50 is in another world compared to the fuji,it’s like going from black & white to colour TV!.Ihad lenses from & nikon F55,so it didn’t actually cost that much,(and i am a student with a part time job 😮 )

If cityjet were to serve AMS,which i can’t think of any reason why they couldn’t successfully then that would serve to lower EI’s prices as you’ve said.Nearly every student(like myself)wants to got AMs but for totally different reasons to myself 😀 ,so there is definitly a demand.

Oh dear,it seems that there’s nothing anyone can do to stop RYR buying up to 50.1% of the shares,so it seems it will happen. From a statement ot the ryanair site(the pdf file),on the 2nd page it says it will “Give Aer Lingus access to the benefit of ryanair’s lower cost aircraft deliveries & lower cost financing faclities”
Does this mean that they’ll replace the A320/A321’s with 737-800’s?.I hope to god not,i’m sick of seeing 738’s at dublin. The place is swamped with them, not just ryanair but futura,THY & eurocypria have them too!

The manual i have isn’t the full version 🙁 (for some reason),it doesn’t go into much detail regarding the different modes. It’s more of a quick start guide really.
