But as pointed out before, we don’t know for sure how this has come to the light of the day.
Quality inspection probably. Every now and then a manufacturer checks his goods meet the specification. Since this likely wasn’t the first time a check been done, on previous checks the holes were probably within tolerances.

Oh and here we go with the exaggerations. Meanwhile other manufacturers, who all produce fighters with far higher loss rates than Eurofighter, don’t even notice this stuff.

I may be misreading your two posts, and putting 2 and 2 together to make a fish, but are you suggesting that an F22 can carry a 2000lb internally?

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Airman 1st Class Ashley Hill and Staff Sgt. Ragina James, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aircraft armament systems weapons load team members, use a MJ-1 Jammer to load a MK-84 2000-pound bomb on a F-22 Raptor during a weapons load competition on the Nellis flightline Jan. 7. Weapons load competitions are conducted quarterly to keep Airmen sharp and recognize superior performers. Weapons load teams are evaluated for their use of the checklist, safety, and overall speed. That would be on those wet hardpoints. And that means no wet bags, which means little range, or lots of tanker support. Not exactly optimal..
I was thinking they may fit internally given that a Mk-84 will.
In theory, how about two JSMs in an F-22?
Note formation lights.
In terms of actual achievements in real combat, a Lynx with Sea Skuas has probably done as well as any.
Buccaneer.
Discussion over, thread closed.
China has in my lifetime, but mostly its own citizens.
They have in my lifetime if we include the Khymer Rouge as being Chinese-backed, but then they were also US-backed.
There are boots on the ground though. Kurds and the Iraqi army. It’s their country, let them fight the ground war and we’ll provide air cover.
Calling it right now: this is the beginning of the end of the American empire and the western-led world order.
I called it in September 2008.
Price of oil due to rise:
Not at all, the mission is well justified, but it’s only reasonable to enquire why a strike costs as much as some aircraft. I still can’t quite believe the figure. Even assuming a substantial $50,000/hour operational cost and another $50,000 per JDAM, I still struggle to get the figure to $1m, never mind $79m, unless they’re including the cost of the GPS satellites or something ridiculous.
