They are going to put them on charter routes aparently because there is A320’s they can use on the Summer Charter routes currently!
Btw your location says Lisburn which is a wee bit away like.
Belfast International Airport
EGAA/BFS
TWR – 118.300
APP – 128.500
GND – 121.750 (only avil. on busy summer days)
The main location at EGAA is the viewing gallery but if you walk towards to Belfast from the terminal, about 1/3rd of a mile down the road you come to a barrier with Road Closed on a road on the right. This is the road at the end of runway 25 and is closed to traffic not humans 😀 Security dont mind but dont go too near the fence or they come over. Standing in the road is good for arriving shots and runway 25 is in use 95% of the time!
Belfast City Airport
EGAC/BHD
TWR – 130.750
NO GND
The only possibe location for Runway 04 arriving and departing aircraft is the blue bridge on the dual carriageway. From the airport turn right and walk along. It is visible from the terminal (just).
For runway 22 the new car park of B&Q is excellent and opened yesterday! It is parallel to the runway 22 threshold and is brilliant for arriving and departing aircraft.
Runway 22 is the prefered choice for arrivals of A320 family jets 04 is the favoured for all departing aircraft. Pratically all the time both runways are open at once.
You dont need a zoom lens for photos at the B&Q but at the blue bridge you will need one for shots at the hold not for arriving aircraft.
I was at Dublin Airport yesterday and a Northwest A330 flew in. It was def. an A330 as it had winglets and Airbus A330 on the fuse.
Beautiful in new colours. I managed to see all four Aer Lingus A330’s as well 😀
A330 is a fav of mine!
If it was me reduce journey time by turning them friggin engines on!

They take up alot of room and cost around £6000 in total when fully built!
Any AW members have free hours on it!

Moondance, BHD (aka Belfast City or Belfast Harbour Airport) has a good variety of aircraft (for a small regional airport) now and some decent spotting locations, all be it off site but accessable easily from terminal.
We get bmi, ba, flybe, air wales, aer arann, jet magic and numerous Beech King Air’s, Cessna and private jets. We also should be getting one of the Boeing 737’s that flybe are telling BHD they are buying to operate a BHD to somewhere like Barcelona service!
Florida Dude BA are going to ur head. Your first version about Virgin beating BA’s charisma etc was correct!
Aer Arann operate a ticket service but generate a e-ticket code when u book!! I got tickets for my internal irish flights as well as belfast to dublin ones.
We had a EAL 747 at Belfast so i guess its the one with the green stripe in the photos?
