I imagine the taxiways are properly spaced about so I can only imagine it down to pilot error (being off centre line or taking wrong turn) or ATC directing aircraft to travel along a route which was too thin for the aircraft passing each other.
Maybe aircraft should come with a system like a car’s reversing blips to let them know if they are near or going to hit something! After all can the pilots actually see the wingtips?
LOL!
They advertise flights based on low cost, they do it on billboards & radio, travel magazines and no doubt a few others.
I doubt that they advertise too much in specialist magazines as your cutting down the target audience dramatically.
Kilcoo, just because you do not see it does not mean BA do not spend advertising budget on targetting specific traveller groups. I have seen numerous BA adverts in the likes of the Ulster Tatler, which is directed at the top 30% of earners.
The LET 410’s from Manx do it all the time at Belfast International Airport. I would not be surprised in 10 years if all aircraft had some form of electronic system to allow them to reverse back to save on cost and the environment. Coupled with CCTV it could be quite safe.
“One could never imagine flying to europe in anything less than first. You must need a good wash afterwards! What twaddle not to use spiffing British Airways First Class. Rar Rar”
I would only give this credit if it was 1k FR and 1k BA passengers.
BA must surely fly an amount of business passengers that is somewhere near Ryanairs total pax mark in one year across the network?
One hopes they re enforce the windows so that when they do their warm ups they dont shatter the glass!
The quality of photographs on these forums constantly amazes me! The bar is being raised on what seems a daily level!
Maybe Jet2 could do a Parody of Yorkshire Airlines 😀
That picture of it in real life looks “nice” (not awful) but I still prefer old colours. Compared to some other schemes (old bmi) the old CSA scheme is refreshing enough.
It would appear to have been the entire of Terminal 1 as the departures list showed heavily delayed flights from all airlines.
The last bmi is due to arrive at 2255 into BHD, sta is 2100. Hopefully it will not get diverted to BFS as BHD should technically close at 2200!
Not sure about those adverts. What happens if someone stabs it, would it not deflat?
Also compared to the previous adverts these ones would render larger sections of a field underneath useless during the period it is up. At least with the drawning on the ground you get some of the land available for use with crops or animals.
Would be an interesting billboard for a bouncy castle company lol!
I agree with T5, the new scheme is too bland. I like the current balance of colours.
Id like to see them try to put a flower in an MP5 being held by Airport Police!
I imagine one of his children will inherit his shares but FR is a listed company so there are alot of owners!
Speculation of CIA use has not much to do with Commerical Aviation. Please keep this relevent or it will be moved.
