Usually as long as you are wishing to check in with less than 24hrs to go before the flight most airlines would enable you to.
First we had Citation as speedboat (remember Atlantic City?)
Now the sequel…Citation as lawnmower
Versatile things, these 525s…:D
ROTFL – Yeah that speedboat was funny! What next? A 525 as a tractor?
Only think I can think of is it it came from the gear well when they lowered or raised the landing gear and it fell out? That is if it came from an airplane….
Could have been a weather balloon or someone firing small rocket type things which fell apart!
*shudder*
Bad memories of that awful flight! 😮
Maybe just my imagination but didnt we have to duck to enter the plane to prevent hitting our heads?
AA ERJs have a “static airbridge” at JFK. You decend in the terminal to the level of the aircraft cabin then walk along a portacabin style airbridge to the aircraft. They open a PVC hood over the aircraft if its wet and you can walk straight onto the aircraft over a ramp. The airbridge does not move – they just fold away the hood.
They need to repaint the yellow line in the centre! Did the plane make it safely?
If it was not for liking the bmi service I wouldnt even bother trying to work my way through their website. bmi are by far the best airline to serve Northern Ireland in terms of the entire package. EIN will not be a challenge for them unless they offer Business Class at a cheaper price, which they cant as they are all economy.
I think prices will be higher with EIN as with all economy some prices will have to be higher to pay for the cost of the flight, where as with bmi higher business fares pay large amounts towards the flight hence meaning economy prices do not have to be as high.
The pictures of the pilot sitting there looks like something out of the TV show Lost! Are planes built like cars and designed to specifically crumple in the even of a crash as it seems the cockpit crumpled away from the pilot and left him in his seat mainly untouched?
I have moved this to GD to try and gain more signatures (and also because a link with commerical aviation is teadious!)

maybe the pilot was not used to wet conditions in Glasgow and did know grass turned to mud – unlike in Dubai. And what else could it be but pilot error – did a big monster come along and push the plane onto the grass!.
I hate those big monsters!

Sister is flying BHD-MAN on Friday and myself on Saturday. Flybe said all flights are being operated on both days but surely a loss of 6 aircraft (3 of which I am told where BHD based) could cause cancellations?
Was it not Saudi Hercs that use/d Manchester?
