I like it Adam 😉
BTW, I’d like to know how to use this myself, so any help would be much appriciated
Take a look at this: http://toomuchfs.com/tutorials/ILS/tutorial_ils.htm Its not as complicated as people think, so have a quick read through that and give it a go.
Here’s another shot from me. This Loftleidir Icelandic 767-300 is operating a bmi flight from Glasgow to Manchester.

Your landing could have been better, I think it is fair enough to say. If I was a passenger on that flight and experienced a landing like that, I’d probably never fly your airline again.
Use the ILS. It does everything for you and will make sure you are right on that centre line every time! 😉

How cool is this thing…?! 😀

Well, it arrived today, but because I’ve got three deadlines tomorrow and still lots of work to get finished, I’ve only had a chance to have a quick play around with it and it does seem simple enough to fly. Not like the Project Open Sky 767s which seem to have a tail strike upon just about every takeoff.

Yeah, like I said, the weather wasn’t great and there was a strong southerly wind, which swept me away at the last minute. What didn’t help is that I was using the ILS for the approach and never took over the controls as I neared the runway.

Early morning arrival for this Continental Airlines 767-200 operating from Newcastle (!!).

Only just made it onto the runway in this very windy approach. You’ll have to excuse the progressive taxi markings. This was taken in replay mode.

Always comforting to know!
A great start on the forums. That’s a nice report and the photos are brilliant, too.
Excellent shot. Nice to see something different from the usual commercial aviation shots.
I should also post some news… I’ve just ordered the Level-D Simulations 767. Yippee! 🙂
