Nice shots again. I really like all of them and am especially keen on the belly of the Emirates A340. Is the logo on all of their aircraft is this a new trend?
Nice report, though I’m not sure I agree with your comments on the uniforms of Aer Lingus and bmi. I would say that I prefer the uniform of bmi. It looks much smarter than what I recall as being a dark green knitted jumper with a shirt and tie underneath.
And who would have thought it, I’ve been on G-MIDK and EI-CPF!
Nope, the whole of web-wings is down for some reason. I will update as soon as i know more. Sorry 🙁
Really sorry about what’s been going on lately. I have sent a few emails enquiring about the current state of web-wings.co.uk and have finally got a reply, so have PMed you with further information.
Nice report.
I flew G-OBYI a few years back when it was in the Britannia colours. My flights to/from Montego Bay were with Airtours on the A330-200 out and the 767-300 (the same one that is now with Monarch).
I hate airlines who think they can charge passengers extra for a seat with a few extra inches of legroom!!
It is possible to customise it. I personally have never done it before, but I’m sure its a complex procedure, one that isn’t too easy to learn.
Check out http://www.projectai.com. That should answer your questions and provide you with lots of AI traffic.
Very nice A346 there Michael. That shot really emphasiss the length of it!!!
Thanks Airline owner.
It is indeed a great little (or not so little) model. I was just a little disappointed that one of those tail fins had broken off when it arrived, but nothing a bit of glue couldn’t sort.
Thanks Tom,
Looks great, but something with some commercial traffic would be just as great 😉
I used two bucket loads of super glue on my A300 and the bloody thing still didn’twant to stay together…
The worst thing about it is that because of college, driving lessons etc, I can’t buy a model now! Like I said.. I have luck to spare. :p
You’re not by any chance using PVA glue are you? 😉 I think you might need something a little stronger.
Ah yes. Let’s see…
My little 2 year old cousin broke my 2nd favourite model, the Varig Brasil MD11. Oh, I have luck to spare…
Also, my Olympic Airways A300-600 broke. Guess who…?
I fell onto a block of shelves last year and my favourite 1/500 scale model (a China Airlines 747) fell from its stand on the top shelp, plummetted to the ground and broke. It was almost glued together perfectly.
Great flight review!
If the A340-300 has a poor climb rate, what is the heavier -600 going to be like?
Excellent report with lots of detail! 🙂
I know a good website that would love to add that report to its collection 😉
There is only one airline i will try and fly with and that is, Virgin Atlantic.
Very reassuring for my first trip in 13 days 🙂
But a great report with lots of funny bits, too. Well done.
Nice, brief report. I’d recommend http://www.flightlevel350.com for your video.
Blimey, its been more than 3 months since someone posted a reply to this topic. Surely some of you have added to your collections in this time?
I couldn’t leave this amazing A340-600 (G-VATL) for £15.95. It’s parked alongside a Virgin Atlantic 747-400 (G-VBIG) which A330Crazy gave to me a while back… for free! 😀
