I think it is great that the passengers aren’t told, just to avoid any panic over something that probably is a hoax anyway but next time you are asked to disembark the aircraft when it is practically still on the runway, you should start to suspect that things aren’t as they should be.

What effect do you guys think this will have on the future of bmi?

I am convinced that its going to lose them customers. Those customers who want inflight service will have no choice but to fly with other airlines. Mind you, a lot of airlines are going this way now.

As far as I can tell, if you want the same service on board any future bmi flights as they are offering at the moment, you can have it, but you pay for an Premium Economy service which is going to add a lot more onto the fare?

I had a look today and found £4.00 flights available, exclusive of any taxes.

Really nice evening light on some of the shots. That’s also the first photo I’ve seen of the flybe. 737-300. Looks quite nice.

    I echo that! 😀

I don’t agree with A Levels being harder than GCSEs. I done my GCSEs four years ago and completed my A Levels 2 years ago. I’ve now just completed the second year of my three year degree, so I should be graduating next year.

Obviously, the work when studying for your A Levels is bound to be much harder, but the workload compared to GCSE is completely different. It is likely that you will only study for three or four A Levels. I only done three. At GCSE, you’re studying and working hard for at most, 10 grades.

In my opinion, unless you want to go onto University, your A Levels are a total waste of time (controversial 😮 ), so you are probably better just getting out into the real world and getting a job rather than staying on at Sixth Form or College for another 2 years.

On a similar sort of subject, the new-ish direct flight for Thai Airways between New York JFK and Bangkok is estimated to take 17 hours. I think that’s the primary reason why the airline opted for Airbus A340-500 and -600 equipment.

Hey, I could get used to this good weather you know………… 😀

Make the most… the forecast isn’t looking too good for the next few days! 😮

Excellent shots. I’ve lost count of days to go until the Manchester meet.

It’s not a great thing to do, especially not after you’ve put so many hours of hard work into the site, but I would look on the bright side. This guy has an opportunity to link to one website and he’s chosen yours. 🙂

I know there are a few people on here who link to websites in their profiles that are not their own.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have just dowloaded a Grob 115E and it is the most sluggish plane I have ever flew on flight sim, having flown in one of these before I can assure you this is not a sluggish aircraft however the one I downloaded is.

    😡

For me, it tends to be the opposite. I’ve come across aircraft that are at V1 about 5 seconds after you apply full throttle.

Excellent shots, especially the 747 ones. Its a shame to see they’re going to scrap it. There are airlines out there (i.e. Phuket Air) that could do with it.

Also, just noticed that the grotty little blue, white and red thing is Hungarian registered.
