Michael, have you looked at Jet2 from LGW? £71.00 return on the 1st and last flights of the day.

Thanks LBARULES, I did spot that one earlier but knowing that if you book well enough in advance, a flight can be booked for £30 return, I’m not sure I want to spend that much.

Looks like I’ll have to get a few extra hours at work and plan for a trip later in the year. Hopefully some of you who cannot make this one next week will be able to come along in a few months.

It’s a little too short notice for me, the only reason being that the flights are getting too expensive so close to the date. I can get a flight for about £75 with bmi but that’s a lunchtime flight up and an evening flight down. I’d want to go for longer, but the fares go through the roof!

An amazing set of shots you’ve got. Usually, I’d pick out one or two and mention the ones I like the most, but they’re all great and you’ve so many special colour schemes, too!

I should say, I think that BA 757 looks awful with that ‘art’ on its rear. 😮

Looks so much better with a new lick of paint? Remember in it’s older days last year where you could see the marks of Garuda Indonesia, looked terrible.

Sorry to keep posting, but the aircraft had Garuda titles and tail logo when I flew it 😛

Love the colour scheme but looks as if it might be better suited on another aircraft, maybe a 737 or 757.

At £130 for a return flight from Gatwick in September, is this BritishJet.com good value? I take it that the airline is offering a no-frills service?

It wasn’t exactly reliable for MYT, and it seems its keeping up its reputation with Monarch.

We had a four hour delay on Easter Sunday 2002 when the aircraft was flying with Airtours International from Jamaica. No reasons were given, just that it had a late departure from Gatwick. :confused:

Always nice to see a not so common airport and the traffic it gets.
