Back to my question… Anwhere anywhere near LGW good for spotting? And anyone up for a meet on either the 22nd or 29th of January? (Is a Saturday – Just £38.00 return!)

Saturdays are nasty for me.

I’m certainly up for a meet in Manchester in the near future though.

Looks like Ryanair still use the 737-200s on the Gatwick route. Myself and A330Crazy had hoped for one back in February and were sad to see an Islandsflug 737-400 (TF-ELV) operating both legs of the flight instead.

At £51.14 return for the Dublin meet, I’ll pass.

Ah excellent, this is really coming together with much more interested than I originally thought! Looking forward to it now, and to hearing from the others if they can go 😀

I’m just waiting for the nod from A330Crazy and we’ll be on our way, too. Flying with Aer Lingus very early on Thursday morning! 😀

The MON6814/5 LGW-SSH-LGW is operated by a 757, whole series.

Excellent stuff, thanks a lot.

I also flew with Monarch a fair few years ago on an Airbus A300. It was back in the Summer of 1999 on a long haul flight from Gatwick to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately, I hated the experience.

I’m currently hunting the net for more package deals from Heathrow, preferably with British Airways or even Malev, but at the moment, prices are way out of my price range. Not much of a surprise since I plan to visit in early July 2005 for three or four nights.

A great selection of models, I really like the Olympic 737 and the British Airways 747-200.

Unfortunately, my budget doesn’t allow for models at the moment!

Andy (A330Crazy) has experienced interest too, looks like he could be coming over on Aer Lingus from LHR.

I’m also up for it, but please ignore my comments above. With lots of people to meet, the traffic at Dublin won’t bother me in the slightest.

I need to confirm some bits over the next 24 hours, but assuming thats all alright, I’ll also be booking onto the Aer Lingus flights from LHR with Andy.
