God knows what the airline is, but I’m also convinced that the aircraft is a 767.

Excellent shots. No sign of the Phuket Air 747-200/300?

Great report, very funny as well! Photos are also excellent.
The food on the DC-10 sounded a little ‘offputting’ to say the least. Might be worth a few seconds of your time to contact the airline and express your concerns. I mentioned not so long ago that I emailed Thai Airways and told them how disgusted I was with the food and service on a flight in April. They sent a rather long letter in the post, telling me how sorry they were and how they would pass it onto their caterers. No free flights though! 😀
Great report.
Nice to hear that you enjoyed easyJet as much as I did just a day or two before.
I found the A319s very comfortable, clean and tidy, with plenty of legroom.
Like you, we were boarded for our CGN to LGW flight a few minutes too early. As G-EZDC rolled onto the stand, we were already being shoved outside to board it! We had to wait at least 5 or 10 minutes in the cold, at the foot of the aircraft, before we could board the flight.
With easyJet getting big now in Ireland with their latest batch of Irish destinations, I’m wondering how long it will be before they start flying to Dublin?
Ryanair currently fly the route about 5 times a day and British Airways fly a good two or three times a day, so it would be great competition for the airline.
Also, has bmibaby got some sort of alliance going on with germanwings? Not so long ago, it was allowing passengers to book flights to Cologne, then forwarded you to germanwings… I’m sure of it.

Wot was the reg off the bmi A321 Matt?
I was curious to know that, too.
Which of the A321s have you been on bmi-star? Or it may be easier to ask which of the A321s you haven’t been on! :p

Amazing shots, especially the Malev 767-200. The last time I saw one of these was in Budapest… 🙁

Excellent shots. The light is amazing on all of them.
The favourite (for me) is the Olympic A300, the light combined with the fact that there is another aircraft passing overhead make it look great.

I think with 99% of airlines using the internet to allow customers to learn more about them and to book flights, easyJet have no choice but the drop the “The Web’s Favourite Airline” slogan. The new slogan is a bit rubbishy, though.
I have seen the new easyJet advertisement twice in the past 24 hours, so their new campaign must be earning them a few extra customers. I think I’ve seen easyJet more than I have Linda Barker, and she takes some beating!
