Ahh… the nicest airliner in the sky, there’s no doubt about it!
My favourite colour scheme can be seen below. Fortunately, I’ll be flying on one of these beasts in just over a month! 🙂

I think Emirates are bound to be a success from just about any airport they choose to fly from.
As said above, the connections available from Dubai are quite amazing. Once in Dubai, the world really is your oyster with Emirates.

Because a meal on the plane is part of my holiday!
Couldn’t agree more 🙂

‘Support Oxfam’ Try giving up one of your holidays before spouting that crap!
T5 if you can afford to go to Thailand as often as you do for a month at a time you can afford a fiver for a sandwich.
Why don’t you put a sock in it, too?
I wouldn’t deem supporting a charity as being crap and secondly, I travel to Thailand once a year. Hardly very often.
Why would I need to give up a holiday to support a charity? I’m a full-time student, not in debt and working just about every free hour I have. I’m very comfortable indeed, so sacrificing a holiday in order to donate a few pounds here and there is not necessary. You’ll also notice that my response was posted as a solution to Bmused55’s remark about the people who aren’t lucky enough to get meals. Of course, you forgot to mention that his post was completely unrelated to the thread as well.
So I’m a liar, am I T5? 😀
Have a good look for yourself next time you’re there, eh?
Try looking towards the left of the terminal building on the upper level Departures floor……..
I don’t know, are you? I don’t seem to recall saying such a thing. As per usual, people who cannot interpret the simplest of things in the way in which they are intended.

I know for certain that there’s a Burger King in both T1 and T3, and I’ve done the Boots Meal Deal in T3 and T2, as well.
Maybe you were too tired/harassed to notice them?
Unlikely.
You’ll have to tell me where abouts this Burger King is in Terminal 3 – I’ve never seen it.

Does Royal Brunei even have 737s?
Nope!

To be in the right place, at the right time.
Look at the Concorde crash back in July 2000 and how many people saw the amateur footage (not a photo, I know) of the blazing Concorde leaving Charles de Gaulle. If this would have been a photograph, it would have been just as popular and made you some money.
I know Ren Frew has a photograph of his Balkan Holidays Tu-154 on the front of an aviation DVD. I think he got a free DVD, too! :p
