Who would want a 4 and a half hour flight with no food and no IFE??
This is all the rage at the moment isn’t it? No food and no entertainment, therefore, keeping the costs low. If you want to enjoy a Hollywood Blockbuster and a microwave meal, then pay an extra £100 or so. Eat before the flight and after the flight and take a good book.. that’s my solution!
Also, byezycaptainben, do you not think your signature is a bit too long? There are long signatures like mine and a few others, then there are stupidly long signatures (like yours).
That food sounds scrumptious! :p
What I want to know is, how did these men become drunk in the first place? We all know that if passengers are drunk, they risk being refused travel. Even when on the aircraft, there is a limit as to how much alcohol a passenger can be served. Who allowed these men to either fly drunk or drink lots on board?
It looks very promising, but if you’re wanting to sell aviation-related products, then ebay is really the place to do it. Your products will certainly attract a lot of attention and, as a result, your products will hopefully sell for more.
Best of luck though 🙂
I saw this same photo on JetPhotos.net last night. It’s quite an amazing shot.
I have flown on G-DOCN, but can’t find my little book to find out where from/to!
Congratulations to just about all of that figured something had gone wrong!
You beat me to it.. I was going to post a photo of the day for March 8th. This one was taken in 1998 or 1999, but has only been uploaded to JetPhotos.net in the past couple of days. Excellent shot, can anyone guess where it was taken? 😉

Ahh… 9 days now and that’ll be me! 😀

you think the plane is old
Old planes do not cause me any concern. I think if I were flying a new aircraft, I’d be scared. At least with something old, it’s been flying ages and ages and is obviously reliable! 🙂
But to answer the question, I’ve never feared flying.
I completely disagree with those of you who dislike the Air Jamaica and BWIA colours. These airlines are based in countries where the sun shines brightly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Of course, they’ve got to have bright colours!
Titan Airways has potential – the globe graphic is quite nice, but overall, their aircraft look incomplete.
Not too bad. Not comparable to the 777 either! :p
Perhaps try the official BAA.co.uk timetable…

I am getting a new one for Easter
Don’t you get chocolate eggs for Easter? 🙂
Although slightly late, I hope your day was a good one and I wish you a very Happy Birthday.
On the subject of the United 777 in the new colours, N775UA is the poster in the March 2004 Airliner World! Excellent! 😀
I’d be more than happy to make a donation. Let us know how and when you want payment etc. 🙂
Perhaps if the future of the 767-200 is unclear, there is little point in paying out so much money and painting the aircraft in the new colours.
