All but a few of my models have come from ebay and that is arguably the best place to get them from. Most of those being sold are brand new and complete with their original boxes.

A330Crazy and myself regularly use ebay.com (ebay USA) and have models shipped into the UK for about half of the price they are over here. I’m just waiting to win a United Airlines 767 by Gemini Jets hopefully and will get it with postage and packing for about £13 and it’s brand new. Obviously it would work out cheaper to buy more than one model since postage would be made cheaper.

If anybody is interested in cheap models, let me know what you’re after and if we all order our models at the same time, we can all make huge savings. I have one contact in particular who owns a business in New York and I’m sure he would appreciate your business. Anyone after anything for a good price should contact him. He offers a variety of brands and scales, ranging from 1/200 Star Jets to 1/400 Gemini Jets, Dragon Wings and 1/500 Herpa, Big Bird etc.

The meet was a one-off, since Ryanair had an excellent value fare from Gatwick available. I wouldn’t know if we would go again or not though? Perhaps when its a fraction warmer it could happen again.

Quite a nice colour scheme, but you saw it here first! 😉 A330Crazy did show off the first photos more than 2 weeks ago!

For services to the Middle East (Dubai etc), would there be sufficient demand from those living in and around Dublin? Perhaps passengers wishing to travel to Dubai as an example, should just connect via Heathrow.

I got my A380 this morning and when the model and postage was less than £13, you certainly can’t complain. Was very impressed with it.

Very nice models, can I have the 757? 😀

I do apologise for the less than impressive quality of the images!

This is the Thai 747-400. My aim is to collect one of each aircraft currently in service with the fleet. I’ve got 1/400 scale models of the 777-300, 747-300 and now this. I’ll get myself an A330-300, 777-200 and A300 sometime soon. I don’t suppose if anyone knows whether or not there is such a model as a Thai 737-400? I’ve seen the classic, and supposedly rare, 737-200, but that’s expensive and not something I can really afford right now!

Unless of course some idiotic bus company decides that it won’t stop to pick up passengers on the way! :p Fine by me though, I’ll be getting there for about 10.15am. :p

There is probably a lot of cities that you don’t want to get to via Manchester or London, but unfortunately, sometimes you have to.

All are excellent and make a nice change to what we usually see on this forum.

I love your night-time shot of the British Airways London Eye, tenthije. 😉

Been on your site, too, and it’s looking very nice. One thing I would certainly advise you not to do would be to steal news from websites like BBC.co.uk and AIRWISE.com. I usually sit down at the computer when writing articles – just me and my notebook. Look at two or three articles on the same story (to prevent your version of the article being one-sided) and put it into your own words.

This is what I’ll be doing quite often once I actually pull my finger out and get working on the site!

I have viewed your site many times and think that are only very small problems with a few of the pages – in particular, some of the bright text colours don’t work so well on the blue background. Otherwise, the logo and navigation graphics are very nice (blue and white like the sky) and the information is up-to-date and detailed.

However, perhaps next time you request comments, you should tell people you don’t want criticisms. Everything has something bad about it, so don’t let one persons comments gets you down.

    What anniversary is it?

If it’s not a special anniversary, then I wouldn’t celebrate or mourn it. You could have an anniversary for Concorde’s first passenger flight, it’s last passenger flight etc etc.. far too many to even bother with.

Even those travelling for ‘leisure’ instead of business opt for Edinburgh over Glasgow. I did! 😀
